Sunday Reading October Halloween 2010

Each Sunday as a part of  weekend blog post routine, I  include a few links to tools or great content I found during the week.

I won’t write a lengthy description about the links, but I encourage you give them a read The photo isn’t related to what I am linking to, it is something that caught my eye.

26 week marketing plan

I was using Stumbleupon the other day and came across this mind-map. It offers up a good plan for those of you who want to start internet marketing. The plan starts with looking at your market and competition. It later talks about social media, content marketing and other marketing tools you may not be familiar with or think about.

Twitter tips

I don’t know about you, but I like to see how other people use the web so I can take bits and pieces and incorporate them into my own sites. Fast Company posted an article giving Twitter tips from social savvy companies.

I’m not quite sure what it is about quotes, but I love them. Here are a few I saw and liked this week.

“Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘Holy shit…what a ride!’” ~Hunter S. Thompson

“Fate controls who walks into your life. You decide who you let walk out, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.” ~

“For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

If you come across any good quotes or information you think others could benefit from, leave a link in the comments.
