Create An Email Hub With Gmail
Having several email addresses to check all the time is a huge pain in the ass. It takes time and causes a lot of confusion. When coupled with the doing everything from your smart phone, well, it makes you not even want to try.
A while ago I came across a way to use Gmail as a one-stop-shop for all of my email accounts. It lets me keep track of everything in one place. Everything comes in and out of one account, meaning one sent folder, one inbox and a lot of labels and filters to help keep things sorted.
Here is something I wrote over on Make Tech Easier about linking email accounts to Gmail for sending and receiving. There are some accounts you will not be able to forward, but it is well worth the time you will save to check and see if this will work.
